Non-NHS Services and fees
Some services provided by the practice are not covered by the NHS and therefore attract a private fee.
These include, for example, insurance reports, medical certificates, fitness letters, and certain forms or reports requested by third parties.
Our fees are set in line with British Medical Association (BMA) guidance and reflect the time and professional input required.

Medi2Data is an NHS digital accredited company who use the digital system eMR, which enables the production of GDPR compliant medical reports.
GP “Fit to ………” Letters
In line with guidance from the British Medical Association (BMA) and in keeping with the approach adopted by many other GP practices, this surgery does not provide or sign private “fit to …” letters (for example, fit to travel, fit for work, fit for exercise, etc.). These requests fall outside the scope of NHS contracted services.
We are able to issue a letter confirming factual medical information from a patient’s medical record if required. However, as general practitioners, we are not in a position to certify that a patient is medically “fit” for a specific activity or purpose.
We recognise that this decision may cause some inconvenience; however, patient safety and adherence to professional guidance must remain our priorities.
